What’s New
For the first time ever The Bell Center is offering Kindermusik! The core belief of the Kindermusik approach is that all children are musical and that the parent is the child’s most important teacher. Every class offers a delightful mix of songs and activities, while each lesson is also thoughtfully designed to nurture specific learning and developmental goals. The classes meet once a week for one hour and The Bell Center is offering two classes for two different age groups. The Kindermusik Village class is for children birth to 18 months and Kindermusik Our Time for children 19 months to three years old.
Parents accompany children to the class and it is lead by Trish Cohen, a certified Kindermusik instructor. Typically developing “friends” also participate in Kindermusik so the class is a mix of children with challenges and friends who act as peer models. A team of Bell Center therapists also participate in the class as well to ensure that children are targeting early intervention therapy goals throughout each class.
These exciting new programs will be offered in the fall at The Bell Center.
